EDT

Essential Driver Training (EDT) is a mandatory training course that teaches the fundamental driving skills to novice drivers. EDT consists of 12 modules (or 12 one hour lessons) and is part of the RSA’s Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme. EDT is only part of the learning process and you will need lots of practice and may need more lessons to become a safe driver. EDT is required if you obtained your first learner permit since 4th April 2011.
